Some people don't like staying home all summer, so they go to summer camps with other kids around their age! In Massachusetts alone, there are over 100 summer camps. From the age of 6 to 11, I went to Brigss Field Half Day Camp, an activity put on by the Plymouth Recreation Department. Briggs Field camp is located in Plymouth, MA, and is only 3 hours a day for 6 weeks. Campers have the choice to either participate in two of the activities: tennis, baseball, basketball or arts and crafts for an hour each. At the end of their 2 activities, there is a snack and a big game. Anyone can play in the big game, and if they don't want to, they can decide to do arts and crafts. Pony Express, dodgeball, and kickball are some of the favorite big games. For the past couple years, Briggs Field has been at Briggs Field, but now they are moving the 1/2 day program to Hedges Pond, which is still in Plymouth. For all my followers:
