The Pearl, Hallgrímskirkja church, the harbor and the famous 101 Reykjavik neighborhood are all highly recommended travel sites. A unique proximity to nature, with Salmon River Elliðaá running through it, a thermal beach at Nauthólsvík, green valleys and outdoor swimming pools, makes the city of Reykjavik like no other in the world. If you are more of an outdoor person, the Snæfellsnes peninsula is a perfect place to visit. The peninsula has white and black beaches, amazing mountains, bird cliffs, volcanic craters, filled trout lakes and salmon rivers in the lush valleys.
