There is nothing better in the world than a cold and refreshing ice cream during a blazing hot day in summer. It must mean something if the top 3 ice cream places recommended by national geographic.com are here in the United States! Capogiro Gelato is in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the use the freshest of fresh ingredients, like milk from Amish grass-fed cows.
Each day, the workers at Capogiro Gelato handcraft the gelatos and sorbettos. Some of the flavors sold in the shop can not be found anywhere else in Pennsylvania. They use Madagascar bourbon vanilla, a type of pomegranate called melograno, a type of hazelnut called nocciola Piemonte, Saigon cinnamon, Thai coconut milk with a spritz of rum and zucca, a long neck pumpkin. If you are interested in going, Capogiro has four different cafes in Philadelphia.
